Mid July Brings...
The Seven Realms {Week by Week}

July Is Flying

In my life this week…

for some reason the past week has flown by, I can’t believe it’s already the weekend.  (Come to think of it the entire month is flying by…).

It’s been a week of doctor appointments and “have to do’s”.

 In our Homeschool this week…

Reading Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott with everyone, The Striped Ships with Little Bit, and continuing along our Summer Schedule.  Though today is an exception since Little Bit is off to scout camp.  Still thinking, planning what to do in the fall.

Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…

don’t miss out on reading E. Nesbit's work to your children!!

Nuf said.

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

well, the above mentioned doctors and attending scout camp are enough going and seeing for me right now.

Frankly I’d rather be camping.

My favorite thing this week was…

honestly, the cooler weather rolling in!  Homeschool-wise? Well it’s summer, and I do like checking those lists off and getting things put away!

My kiddos favorite thing this week was…

for Little Bit I dare say scout camp.

Things I’m working on…

naturally those Works In Progress.  Plans for the upcoming school year. Augh – and clearing out the library, currently piled high with books, paper stacks, and notebooks.

I’m cooking….

Chicken Salad tonight, using bulk prepared shredded chicken.  So quick and easy!

I’m grateful for..

I can’t begin to name it all.  Just everything, amen.

I’m praying for…

Perseverance

I rewarded my kids this week by…

well I really don’t know.  We did buy two huge bags of creamcicles and fugdecicles (of which, amazingly, there remained just two creamcicles the next morning!)

It's been hot around here till today…

(That’s sort of a reward, right??)

Something I am ogling or have my eye on…

this place.  Honestly I don’t even know whether it’s real, (and I’m not certain I really want to know), but I love it.

A photo, video, link, or quote to share…

I’m liking this quote quite a bit:  "When nothing is sure, everything is possible." ~Margaret Drabble

And you must click here to see this oh so cool artful “photograph”.
